This
course has many trees lining its fairways, and the greens are undulating but
not difficult to read. The terrain is level and has six holes with water
where two ponds come into play. Most of the greens are elevated and small
and rise above the fairways. Sand bunkers have been incorporated into the
design of most holes. The course is not hard and will deliver an enjoyable
round. From the Blue tees, the par-5s are short to medium in length. The
par-3s are either 130 or 170 yards. There are several long par-4s in the
closing stretch of holes.
Designed by Ron Garl, the Miona Lake golf course opened in 1966.
